Before you ask
We’re still on Magento 1 (or an ancient 2.x). What now?
Magento 1 has been end-of-life since 2020, so that’s a migration conversation - to current Magento if your complexity justifies it, or to Shopify if it doesn’t. An old 2.x is usually upgradeable in planned steps. Either way the audit gives you the honest options with prices, not a lecture.
Why do Magento upgrades cost so much everywhere?
Because the price is really determined by your extensions and customisations, not the version number - each one needs checking, updating or replacing. Our audits itemise exactly that, which is why our upgrade quotes are fixed rather than "time and materials, pray".
Can you take over a store mid-flight?
Yes - it’s half our Magento work. We start with the audit, stabilise anything urgent, and take over patching and support. Access to your repository and hosting is all we need to start.
Should we move to Shopify?
Maybe - and we build on both, so you’ll get a genuinely neutral answer. Complex B2B pricing, huge catalogues and deep ERP coupling favour Magento. If your store uses a fraction of Magento’s capability and all of its maintenance budget, Shopify usually wins. The audit settles it with facts.
Do you handle hosting?
We set up and manage Magento-appropriate hosting in your name - properly sized, cached and monitored. Bad hosting is behind half of "Magento is slow", so we’re opinionated about this one.
What does Magento work cost?
The audit is a modest flat fee. From there everything is fixed-quoted per item - patches and tuning at the small end, upgrades and builds larger, with support as a monthly arrangement. No open-ended hourly mysteries.
